Carriage Driving is a fast growing equine sport. It lends itself to pleasure drives on weekends
with good friends beside you or combined driving, a team sport between the driver, a navigator and a
well trained and conditioned single equine or team.
I enjoy teaching beginning carriage driving. Being an educator I like working with the horse owner as
much as the horse. I teach the owner how to teach their horse to drive!

I believe in using positive reinforcement, "Clicker Training", when training horses more so than just
relying on traditional Pressure/Release Methods. "Clicker Training" allows the horse to "think through
the choices" and choose the correct behavior easily over the incorrect by the use of only positive
reinforcement. I like the fact that "Clicker Training" not only trains the Equine but also trains the
handler in a new method of communicating. There is so much pleasure in watching a fearful horse
realize that the "Click" means, " Oh!, that's all you wanted". I am available to equine enthusiast
needing help with a human/horse relationship. I can get you started with a "Clicker Communication"
system.
If you think you would enjoy getting you and your horse, mule, donkey, or miniature together as a
"driving pair" send me an email or give me a call!

This is my Canadian Percheron Cross, Bountiful Bayan,
who I call BB. BB turned 9 years old May 2009. He is a
joy to handle. His personality is so mischievous and
playful! He is still my baby boy.... Just ask him!
This is Gin's Remme Martin!
A delightful Appaloosa/TB Cross
Gelding.
Remme was under saddle when
he came to reside at my farm but
was not working through his back
or using his hind legs properly.
I decided to teach Remme to drive
to improve his overall body
development and muscle
structure. It turns out Remme
really enjoys driving. You can see
Remme pulling this training cart on
YouTube
Horse Favors! channel.
A VSE is a Very Special Equine. I do believe I enjoy these small darlings as much as the big guys! This is Jessi Kieffer. She is in carriage driving training. To view Jessi's latested training videos. Click Here and Click Here

Remme has outgrown the training cart (above) and will moving into
my Russ Hardwick, Puddle Jumper, an all aluminum 4 wheel
competition marathon cart! We are so proud of Remme! Because
it has a "fifth wheel" I want to have Remme a little stronger under
saddle; meaning a full understanding of leg and rein together!
Below, I am discussing with Remme all of the advantages of his
new carriage. There appears to be no problem!
