My Soap Closet is a collection of handmade soaps created to meet the needs of
gals and guys fighting the elements of time, weather and plain hard work. I spent a lot of
time “tweaking” the recipes to reach the cleansing, lathering, bubbling, and highly
conditioning qualities of each piece using only high grade vegetable oils. In creating these
soaps, my first priority was to cleanse the body without using chemical detergents and for
my skin to be in better condition after each use.
My soaps are nothing fancy, just a great handmade product. My idea of a great soap is one
that makes good scents, lots of suds and conditioning lather! You’ll find no "weighted"
fillers such as clays, minerals, emulsifiers, protein conditioners, artificial colorants, salts or
preservatives in my soap. My soap is handmade in small batches as needed to keep up with
demand. My soaps sell by the ounce, a little more than a dollar an ounce. Each bar will
vary in weight with the minimum being 3 ounces because each is “rough cut”…with a
knife…by me! There is no fancy packaging or “fancy names” so if you find yourself
enjoying something in particular….. be sure to save your ingredient label! I offer a range
of soaps that are made either with or without fragrances. I use essential oils and approved
quality fragrance oils for Cold Process soaping scents.
You may already know, but just in case, “real soap” must be kept out of standing or
running water to extend the life of the bar. A well made bar which is cared for and kept
dry between uses will last very well and is a great investment. It is vastly more cost
effective than using commercial products and then spending a small fortune on lotions
trying to re-condition skin that has become dry from repeated use of commercial skin
cleansers.
For those that have more traditional tastes, I do make pure Castile Soap, 100% Olive Oil,
but the bubbles, lather, and cleansing properties are not present in a pure Olive Oil soap.
My pure Castile bars are most often left in their pure state... meaning no scent nor color..
Pure Castile is always chalk white! However for special occasions I will make scented and
colored Castile... such as for a baby shower! I enjoy filling special request orders! Please
keep in mind I need a minimum 5 weeks notice! Soap has to dry of excess water!
For currently available soaps please contact me directly by email or phone. I've still plenty
of small sample bars while, "on the rack drying", larger and embossed bars will not be
ready for a couple more weeks. Soap availability will change as I cater to special
requests for special occasions and making whatever I feel like making with the oils
I have. I will not be keeping much stock because my soaps have no preservatives,
thus they will always be fresh. I will simply make what I like when I like......

white", is an au naturel ~ Seven Oils balance between Oleic and Linoleic oils which
offers skin cleansing, conditioning, bubbles and heavy lather. Linoleic oils leave the skin
with humectants to attract moisture from the environment and retain the skin's

Citrus/Geranium sports bar and the Castile for a conditioning rinse for my hair! Soap
scents range from vanilla and coffee to floral and citric along with some unusual exotic
essential oil blends.

Goat's Milk , Rose Hip powder (cake icing), "pinch" of Orris root powder, and Oh,,Baby! fragrance oil.
Soaps are hand cut and available by the ounce in Cup Cakes, Cake Slices or Big Chunks!

will be standing alone! I always
have soap balls from the different
soaps and scents I make. A lot of
them get shipped with the large
orders for those giving gifts.. so
they may experience the soaps as
